Four Easy Steps to Success

building a plan for your farm image1. Define your goals for success

We work with many different clients who all have unique interests and criteria for defining their own success. Some want higher yields, some want to spend less on fertilizer, some want to use fewer pesticides, some want to grow 100% organic, and some want to grow better quality crops.

Our experienced agronomy team can help you to define your goals, set achievable milestones and give you the tools and techniques to help you reach your goals.

2. Test your soil.

Results of a soil analysis can reveal imbalances and limitations in your soil's nutrient levels and show you where you may have nutrients that are "locked up" and otherwise unavailable to your plants.

Armed with information from soil and previous crop tissue analysis, we can develop a fertility program, custom-fit to your farm, that addresses your soil's limiting factors with amendments, biostimulants, and nutrients that will give you the best return on your inputs investment.

4. Monitor and make adjustments as necessary.

Tissue Analysis is an incredible tool to be used for mid-season correction and "true-up" to help your crop avoid unnecessary nutrient deficiency that can cause stress, and open the doors to disease, and insect attack, all of which will reduce your yield potential.  Refractometer readings throughout the season measure the plant's °brix level. °Brix has a direct affect on the quality and flavour of the fruit, and provides an indication of the crop's inherent immunity level to resist disease and pest pressure.

Adjustments in your fertility program can be made during your growing season so you can achieve optimal health and stress resistance.
