You'd be surprised what we can learn about a crop just by walking through a field. Using a combination of good, old-fashioned crop scouting techniques, modern tissue analysis and plant sap testing, we can gauge the health of your crops, and determine what nutrients they lack. We can gather information - - lots of information - - that enables us to make dynamic adjustments in your crop's fertility program. A mid-season course correction is sometimes the one thing that stands between a farmer and his best yeild ever. Delivering the right nutrients to your growing crop helps to maintain the health and vigour that will deliver real results!
Adjustments can be made, if necessary, before each foliar spray. We recommend that tissue analysis be conducted throughout the growing season. Ideally, you should have us collect tissue for analysis every three weeks during the peak of growth of your crop. At a minimum, we should collect and analyze at least one tissue sample from your crop so that we can gauge the health of your plants. With this information we are able to see what factors could affect your crop's ability to reach its potential for yield and quality.
It is often humoured that a farmer would sooner spend $100,000 on a new tractor than he would spend $50 on a tissue sample. Ironically, the information revealed by a tissue analysis that costs only a nominal fee could yield a return that would more than pay for his new tractor. Tissue analysis helps us make recommendations for adjustments to foliar or irrigation fertility plans that address limitations in the uptake of nutrients.
